Infrapipe

Did you ever wonder exactly what happened to the pipes built at the rush in September by Infrapipe for the city of Nelson? They were then welded together on site and joined with Hermetica couplers (see next article) to bridge an enormous landslip and restore the primary source of drinking water to the city. To achieve this with steel or concrete would have taken years, not 6 weeks and cost a fortune. But Infrapipe’s spiral-wound HDPE is light, cheap, fast and effective.
