The slab is the most complex part of any cold store – it is a complex multi-level construction with waterproofing, insulation, frost-heave prevention all combined with jointng and multiple levels of differing performance concrete. All is on track though, and once the slab has cured then the trades can start fitting-out the giant fans, evaporators, doors, lights etc
