The property has been extensively refurbished to provide training rooms, sufficient space for stock and of course the clean, functional but very welcoming Promains look and feel. The rear motorway frontage gave Promains the opportunity not only to greet drivers with their logo but also to further promote key brands Channell, Daemco, Fusion, Hermetica & Hy-Ram.

With the onset of summer, a new Trane Chiller has just been delivered to one of the largest Kiwifruit Packhouses in the Bay of Plenty, marking the commencement of yet another dehumidification project – which allows for better adhesion of the stickers to the fruit! This marks the third such system that Technicool has installed at this site.

Infrapipe’s tanks – which are cheaper, lighter, greener, more flexible and have a better lead time than GRP or concrete alternatives – are now being used not just for retention or detention but also fire tanks where the Building Code requires buffer tanks of water to supplement the inadequate local supply. This monster in the pic is the latest delivery.

Promains joined the PWWA

Promains joined the PWWA (Pacific Water and Wastewater Association) in 2022. Very quickly Promains unique approach led to some good relationships and within a year Promains is now the lead supplier to one of the Pacific Island countries water schemes. The first of two containers left our Albany premises in October 2023  – export is now a serious part of the Promains business!
