When the Department of Conservation need to restore washed away tracks deep in the bush, they want to minimise the impact of their work, its access and the cost. Being 15 times lighter than concrete, INFRAPIPE can be flown into the bush and installed by hand saving huge amounts of time, money and reinstatement of the site access.

INFRAPIPE’s innovative slip-lining product has saved Nelson City Council over $1 MILLION dollars. INFRAPIPE designed the pipes, pulling equipment and engineering requirements for Tasman Civil to pull 60m of their pipes through a condemned concrete box culvert, avoiding digging up the state highway in the centre of town. We say the world because the website has similar versions pointed at the Australian and global markets.

Galloway group has exported its playground products to Japan all this century and the latest shipment of spiral slides, tube slides, parallel slides and wave slides plus ancillaries, will keep Japanese children happy and healthy.

Promains sourced and started to import the Logi brand of gate valves, ball valves and brass fittings from Australia in April 2025, ensuring we were prepared for new “lead free” government legislation that became in effect 2nd May 2026 covering products that came into contact with drinking water.

The slab is the most complex part of any cold store – it is a complex multi-level construction with waterproofing, insulation, frost-heave prevention all combined with jointng and multiple levels of differing performance concrete. All is on track though, and once the slab has cured then the trades can start fitting-out the giant fans, evaporators, doors, lights etc

INFRAPIPE has supplied Fulton Hogan with a wastewater line 3.2m in diameter at Harania, the largest pipes made in New Zealand. Inexplicably Watercare will still spend a lot more ratepayers money on the final concrete-lined steel installation, where the rest of the world have been using KRAH HDPE pipes as the permanent installation in this situation for 70 years. Sometimes innovation needs retirement.

Promains enjoys the trust of many local councils and once it had access to the INFRAPIPE CIVILPIPE product, has been successful in introducing it to both the councils and the contractors to whom they delegate the maintenance of the roading system. Led by Susan Henderson, Whangarei Branch Manager, the initiative has seen a number of roading contractors switch to the cheaper, better quality and quick to install culvert.
